MMA & Grappling
Training In Tétouan.
Build a stronger combat base through grappling, wrestling, takedowns, positional control, striking awareness and conditioning. The goal is not chaos. The goal is control, structure and intelligent training.
Structured Classes
Where disciplines
connect into
something real.
MMA is not three sports stitched together. It is one art that requires each discipline to be understood in relation to the others. Boxing shapes your wrestling entry. Wrestling changes your striking distance. The cage changes everything.
At Mata Leão, we train those connections deliberately. Not just boxing, not just grappling — but how they integrate under pressure in the environments where MMA actually happens.

What you train
The full picture.
Boxing
Footwork, guard, combination work and defensive responsibility. Boxing at Mata Leão is taught as a complete skill — not just hitting pads.
Kickboxing
Striking from the legs — kicks, checks, angles and range management. Build the full-body striking toolkit needed for MMA and competition.
Shootboxing
Striking with the added dimension of clinch, knees and takedown threat. A sharp system for understanding transitions.
Wrestling for MMA
Takedowns, cage work, top control and positional wrestling — built for the context of MMA. Wall wrestling and clinch control.
MMA Integration
Putting it together — transitions between striking and grappling, reading distance, and controlling the cage under real pressure.
Controlled Sparring
Sparring is coached and appropriate to level. Beginners do not do hard sparring. Everyone progresses through the room's structure.

The environment
Controlled intensity.
Not reckless
sparring.
Mata Leão is not an academy where beginners are thrown into hard rounds and told to figure it out. The coaching process is structured. Technique first. Drilling second. Live pressure when the coach decides you are ready.
Experienced students will find the rounds here are genuinely challenging. The training partners are real. The coaching is demanding. And the culture makes both of those things work in your favour.
"Real pressure. Real coaching. Real progress."
